f you’re a sucker for city views and cocktails, this new bar located in the Edition Hotel is for YOU!
This bar is most definitely a top contender for one of the most gorgeous and unique places I have ever been to. Luxurious, spacious and totally instagrammable, the Lobby Bar overlooking the iconic land marks of Tokyo is a winner. For everyone!
There is also a restaurant located right next to the bar, if you’re more in the mood for food. The bar definitely does have a selection, but more so tiny bites/ snacks to accompany your drinks.
Can we talk about the decor, and architecture for a minute. The bar is planted with amazing greenery, with a modern and lavish touch. The green accent colour perfectly complements the golden and white tones of the bar, and every inch of this space is stunning. Round of applause to the designer. I’ve never seen a prettier bar in Tokyo!
We didn’t have a booking, but were given (in my opinion) the best seats of the house. We were sat right by the windows on couches, with the plants almost providing a wall of privacy- it almost felt like a small lounge.
I definitely recommend going slightly before sunset, so you are blessed with not only golden hour but also Tokyo by night.
We indulged in a plate of Iberico Ham with Olive-Focaccia- which was divine. 10/10 recommend.
Although the light bites were satisfying, the cocktails were the stars of the show.
I enjoyed every second of my time there! If you love cocktails and a beautiful cityscape, add this to your list!
